- Providing rubrics for students so they understand the expectations for different assignments
- Having students keep track of and interpret science data while participating in a lab about the circulatory system and heart rates.
- Exploring Box and Whisker Plots Box and whisker plots can be confusing, but if the mean, median, lower quartile, and upper quartile are in a table, it would be easy to input the data points and see where the box and whisker plot would be located. Another option found here.
